Job Opportunity: Primary Tutor (EYFS/SEN Specialist)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Primary Tutor to join our team at Prospero Teaching. As a Primary Tutor, you will be working with students who are working below age-related expectations and following the Early Years curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored lesson plans to bridge gaps in students' knowledge and progress their learning.
  • Work with students in a part-time basis (up to 15 hours per week) at their home or in a local library.
  • Collaborate with our team to provide support and guidance to students.
  • Develop and implement creative and engaging lesson plans to meet the needs of students with Special Educational Needs.

Requirements:

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications.
  • Demonstrated experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Possess UK classroom teaching experience and experience delivering tailored lesson plans.
  • Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box.
  • Have experience working with challenging behaviour and disengaged pupils.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
