Microwave Engineering Industrial Placement Specialist

We are seeking highly motivated and talented Science & Engineering students to join our team at Leonardo, where you will have the opportunity to design and develop cutting-edge Microwave/RF systems.
As a Microwave Engineering Industrial Placement, you will work alongside our highly skilled team to design and execute high-performance Rx, Tx, and signal processing functions. You will gain valuable experience and develop lifelong skills in Microwave & RF design up to 40GHz, using the latest software design tools.
Our team is responsible for designing a diverse range of products, including TRMs and Up/Down converters, which form key parts in high-performance EW systems. You will have the opportunity to assess your work in our well-equipped laboratories, developing robust designs that will function reliably in harsh environments.
We are looking for students with a minimum of a predicted 2:1 grade in a relevant degree discipline, such as Physics, Applied Physics, Mathematics, Electronic Engineering, General Engineering, or other STEM subject degrees.
