Job Summary:
Bright Healthcare Services Ltd is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Children's Home Director to lead our residential care team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and support are provided to children and young people in our care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management: Provide strategic leadership and management to the residential care team, ensuring that all staff are equipped to provide high-quality care and support to children and young people.
- Care and Support: Ensure that all children and young people in our care receive the highest standards of care and support, tailored to their individual needs and requirements.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and develop a team of skilled and dedicated staff who are passionate about providing exceptional care and support to children and young people.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all aspects of our residential care service meet the highest standards of quality, as set out in our policies and procedures.
- Safeguarding: Take lead responsibility for ensuring that all children and young people in our care are safe and protected from harm, and that all staff are trained and equipped to identify and respond to safeguarding concerns.
- Compliance: Ensure that all aspects of our residential care service comply with relevant laws, regulations, and standards, including those set out in the Children's Homes Regulations and the Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards.
- Communication: Develop and maintain effective relationships with children, young people, families, and external agencies, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and involved in the care and support of children and young people.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to our residential care service, ensuring that we remain at the forefront of best practice in the sector.
Requirements:
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior management role in a residential care setting, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care and support to children and young people.
- Qualifications: A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent qualification.
- Skills and Knowledge: Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of staff. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with children, young people, families, and external agencies. A deep understanding of the needs and requirements of children and young people in care, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care and support.
What We Offer:
- Competitive Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum.
- Benefits: On-site parking, and a range of other benefits.
- Work Location: In-person, with regular travel to our residential care settings.
