Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal to join our team at QED Legal in Peterborough. As a Family Law Specialist, you will provide exceptional support to our lawyers and clients, working on a wide range of family law cases.

About the Role:

  • Provide administrative support to our family law team, including preparing court documents and managing case files.
  • Assist with client communication, including drafting letters and making phone calls.
  • Conduct research and gather information to support our lawyers in court.
  • Work closely with our lawyers to ensure that cases are managed efficiently and effectively.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our clients, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Law Degree/LPC
  • Passion for family law
  • Capability to prioritise and multi-task effectively, with good time management and organisation skills.
  • Excellent IT skills, with experience of Microsoft Office Systems.
  • Exceptional communication and client relationship skills, with the ability to have empathy with vulnerable clients
  • Ability to deal with clients and professional contacts on a daily basis and to provide exceptional customer service
