About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse to join our team, providing high-quality care to vulnerable children and young people in Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess the health needs of looked after children and implement care pathways to maximize their health potential.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary colleagues to achieve improved outcomes for children and young people.
  • Attend and contribute to safeguarding meetings, case conferences, and other relevant meetings.
  • Develop and maintain contemporaneous records of patient care.
  • Provide leadership and support to the nursing team, promoting a culture of compassion, trust, respect, and integrity.
Requirements
  • Experience of working with looked after children and an understanding of the service provided.
  • Strong desire to improve outcomes for vulnerable children and young people.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and manage conflicting priorities.
