About the Role:As a Senior Social Services Manager, you will be responsible for supervising a caseload of foster carers, providing regular support and guidance to ensure they receive the necessary resources to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children.
Main Responsibilities:- Supervise and Support Foster Carers: Provide comprehensive support and supervision to a network of foster carers, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to provide high-quality care.
- Conduct Home Visits and Assessments: Conduct regular home visits and assessments to ensure foster carers are meeting the needs of children in their care.
- Liaise with Local Authorities and Agencies: Collaborate with local authorities, schools, and other agencies to ensure the well-being of children in foster care.
- Develop and Deliver Training Programs: Design and deliver training programs for foster carers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Ensure Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all documentation and reports are completed to a high standard and within statutory timeframes.
