Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Analyst to join our team at Marks Sattin. As a Finance Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our business by supporting our worldwide logistics operation.

• Prepare and complete the finance month-end process in an accurate and timely manner.
• Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations, ensuring all balances held are accurate and any anomalies are thoroughly investigated and corrected.
• Prepare Monthly Finance Packs and lead the Finance review meetings.
• Contribute to the Bi-annual budget process, with budget preparation and explanation of variances to previous years.
• Provide weekly reporting on Online Distribution KPI's, working with the operations team to understand any unexpected anomalies.
• Conduct monthly finance reviews with the General Manager to identify areas for cost improvement.
• Provide monthly forecasting updates with commentary on movements to previous forecast.

• Part Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) or graduate willing to study.
• Good IT knowledge - Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to analyse and interpret large volumes of information.
• Excellent attention to detail with an analytical approach to solving problems.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Enthusiastic and driven with a real passion for developing yourself.
• Able to adapt and keep pace with a fast moving environment.
• Commercial awareness and understanding of core business processes.
