Position Overview

An Access Equipment Technician is sought after due to workforce transitions within our client's organization.

Our client specializes in providing mobility solutions for individuals with limited mobility, focusing on the manufacturing, installation, servicing, and repair of various access devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install stair lift systems and other mobility solutions according to manufacturer specifications and safety regulations.
  • Primarily cover a designated area in South East England, with a focus on operations within the M25.
  • Conduct scheduled maintenance and servicing of access equipment.
  • Diagnose and rectify faults in access devices.
  • Maintain detailed records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to clients.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Engage in regular performance reviews to ensure salary reflects contributions to the organization.
Position Requirements
  • A minimum of two years' experience in a related field.
  • Manufacturer training certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Must reside within a one-hour commute of the designated office.
  • A clean manual driving license is preferred.
  • Strong customer service abilities are essential.
  • Personal hand tools are required; specialized tools will be provided by the employer.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary range of £28,000-£36,000, commensurate with experience.
  • 29 days of holiday, inclusive of public holidays.
  • Company vehicle provided, along with a fuel card.
  • Standard working hours from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
  • No overtime is anticipated.
  • Mobile phone provided for work purposes.
  • Pension scheme available.
