Veterinary Surgeon

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our experienced team at Hook Veterinary Centre. As a Veterinary Surgeon, you will be responsible for carrying out consultations and surgery, working collaboratively with a strong team of experienced vets and nurses to provide the highest levels of patient care.

We offer a flexible full-time rota, with an average of 4.5 days per week, including a share of Saturday mornings. We also welcome applications from part-time candidates who value work-life balance and comprehensive mental health support.

Our practice is well-equipped with digital x-ray, dental x-ray, Esaote MyLabX7 ultrasound, K-Laser, and in-house IDEXX lab. We are currently planning our move to a new purpose-built building.

Our team consists of 7 Veterinary Surgeons, 7 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 3 Student Veterinary Nurses, 1 Animal Care Assistant, and 4 Receptionists. We also have certificate holders in companion animal behaviour and cardiology, and visiting orthopaedic and soft tissue specialists.
