Job Opportunity: Maintenance Technician

Blue Arrow is working in partnership with a leading manufacturer of automotive safety systems in Congleton to find a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the site to a high and safe standard
  • Successfully and safely disassemble production equipment
  • Clean and refurbish equipment prior to transfer
  • Packaging and loading of equipment
  • Reaction, reduction, elimination, and prevention of equipment issues

Requirements:

  • Apply current safety rules and standards
  • Decommission equipment in a safe manner
  • Support packaging and loading
  • Carry out PM tasks as per schedules
  • Equipment and tool repairs
  • PDCA improvement actions
  • Continually assess and present cost-saving and performance improvements
  • Modify existing equipment when required
  • Be a proactive member of the team
  • Maintain a good standard of 5S
  • Adhere to procedures

Working Hours:

The role is 3 on/3 off continental days, 6am-6pm, covering 7 days/week, and is a fixed-term contract until the end of June 25 with potential to be extended.
