The Opportunity
We are seeking a fearless and ambitious Assistant Store Manager to join our team. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager in training, coaching, and progressing team engagement to surpass company objectives. You will support business initiatives and ensure they are met with positivity and pace, while assisting with the control and delivery of store operations, customer service, budget control, people, and product.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with all store operations and deliver to expectation on all KPIs
- Support with the planning of workload to ensure a productive and efficient team
- Make confident decisions and delegate to the team effectively
- Support with compliance of process and procedures while maintaining a safe and healthy environment for both the team and customers
- Assist with training and coaching the team to best practice
- Use business communication tools to monitor completion of tasks and meet deadlines
Requirements
- Supervisory or management experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment
- Ability to positively impact results in sales, payroll, and stock loss
- Proven record of developing talented individuals
- Must be able to work well under pressure and to strict deadlines
- Committed to supporting the store manager to achieve the highest store standards and customer service experience
