Health and Safety Advisor Role

We are seeking a skilled Health and Safety Advisor to join our team on a 10-month contract basis. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to our clients' continuous improvement journey and make a real impact in the field of health and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert health and safety advice and support to our teams
  • Conduct internal audits and lead health and safety investigations
  • Deliver comprehensive safety inductions and manage training requirements
  • Collaborate across departments to promote health and safety initiatives and continuous improvement
  • Assist in external audits and ensure compliance with ISO standards

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH HSE certificate (essential or currently working towards)
  • Proficiency in functional health and safety management systems
  • Familiarity with statutory tools and resources for decision support (e.g., HSE and Environment Agency websites)
  • Strong understanding of competency and knowing when to provide advice
