Simulation Controller Role

As a Simulation Controller, you will play a key role in supporting the Royal Navy's Navigation Training Unit at HMS Collingwood. This team works closely with Royal Naval instructors to provide a critical contribution to the professional development of RN and foreign naval personnel through career and other courses, in preparation for operational duties in the Fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Working with instructors to load simulations onto systems/simulators, controlling the simulator, and providing appropriate inputs and responses during training scenarios.
  • Managing simulation exercises, including malfunctions, machinery, and man overboard scenarios.
Requirements
  • STCW II/1 qualification or an RN equivalent (bridge watchkeeping certificate).
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
