The Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Platform Developer to join our client's expanding team in Belfast. As a Platform Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based infrastructure solutions using GCP.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth project releases
  • Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure within a GCP environment to ensure scalability and reliability
  • Use IaC technologies such as Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure best practices and efficient product releases
  • Take ownership of platform engineering decisions and direction

Requirements

  • Strong background in a similar role with experience in cloud platforms, ideally GCP or AWS/Azure
  • Experience with containerization, including Kubernetes or Docker
  • Proficiency in Terraform and SDLC
  • Autonomy and ownership in decision-making and platform engineering direction
