Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Chassis Project Engineer with a strong background in motorcycle engineering. The ideal candidate will possess a proven ability to create and develop both 2D and 3D CAD drawings, with a preference for proficiency in Creo.

Key Responsibilities

As a vital member of our Chassis team, you will:

  • Lead specific projects and components, contributing to the evolution of our product lineup.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery of new models that meet performance standards.
  • Oversee the specification, design, and development of components, assemblies, and systems that enhance our motorcycle offerings.
  • Engage with both internal manufacturing teams and external suppliers, managing the design process while adhering to regulatory standards.
  • Apply your design and development expertise to mentor junior engineers and assist the Team Leader in managing the team effectively.
Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • A solid track record in engineering design, particularly in components and subassemblies.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD, ideally with experience in Creo.
  • A comprehensive understanding of motorcycle chassis design and construction.
  • Experience with regulatory requirements applicable to the motorcycle or automotive sectors.
  • Familiarity with virtual methods for component analysis and optimization.
Performance Metrics

Your performance will be evaluated based on:

  • On-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery of project goals and performance indicators.
  • Quality of CAD models, design reviews, and engineering drawings.
  • Effectiveness of collaboration with internal departments and external partners.
  • Management of key project areas and junior team members.
