About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy services, working closely with our team of pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage stock levels, coordinate orders, and ensure everything is running smoothly
  • Mentor and guide pharmacy technicians, pre-registration trainees, and pharmacy assistants
  • Work closely with the Principal Technician to identify areas for improvement and implement new procedures
  • Review outstanding tasks, update stock records, and prepare the pharmacy for the next day

Requirements

  • BTec or NVQ Level 3 in Pharmaceutical Sciences (or equivalent)
  • Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician
  • Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council
  • Recent/Significant dispensing experience in a Hospital or community environment
  • Education and Training of Pharmacy Staff
  • Supervision of Staff
