Job Description

**About the Role**

St Mary's Cambridge is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Learning Support Assistant. As a valued member of our community, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with a range of learning needs.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Assist the SENCo team in delivering small-group support lessons and providing in-class support in various subject areas.
  • Champion and promote inclusion during activities, ensuring all students feel valued and supported.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized support plans.
  • Provide guidance and support to students with diverse learning needs, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents. You will also have a strong understanding of the needs of students with learning difficulties and be able to adapt your approach to meet the individual needs of each student.
