Ballycommon is seeking a dedicated Site Engineering Specialist to join our team. This role involves working on significant projects that require a strong foundation in civil engineering principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate expertise in reinforced concrete (RC) structures and formwork.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards in a high-profile, Tier 1 setting.
  • Utilize computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and cloud-based systems.
  • Conduct precise setting out and surveying tasks.
  • Possess a degree or HNC in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
  • Hold a valid CSCS card.
  • Additional qualifications such as IOSH Managing Safely, SMSTS, SSSTS, First Aid, Fire Marshall, IPAF (for MEWPs), and HS2 induction are advantageous but not mandatory.

Permanent Design Responsibilities:

  • Familiarize yourself with design drawings, specifications, and setting out requirements to ensure accurate construction.
  • Maintain Quality Management practices.
  • Assist in organizing and maintaining accurate QA Records, including checksheets and inspection records.
  • Participate in Quality Readiness Reviews and contribute to lessons learned and improvements.

Site Duties:

  • Perform accurate setting out using relevant surveying equipment.
  • Conduct surveys and compile as-built information.
