About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales Professional to join our team at Wr Engineering and Manufacturing. As a Technical Sales Professional, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective clients in the engineering and manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and prospective clients.
  • Sell high-value orders to OEMs and manufacturers in the automotive, materials handling, machine builders, and industrial engineering sectors.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and grow the business.
  • Work closely with the sales manager to identify new business opportunities and develop sales strategies.
  • Solutions sell non-standard products as well as a comprehensive range of off-the-shelf products.
Requirements
  • HNC/HND or degree in a mechanical engineering subject.
  • Field sales experience preferred; however, we are open to highly motivated individuals looking for a break into technical field sales.
  • This is a proactive field sales role; you must be prepared to generate new business.
  • Beneficial knowledge in one of the following: hydraulics, pneumatics, springs, linear motion, bearings, couplings, engineered metal or rubber components.
  • Full UK driving licence.

  • Salary up to £40,000 (OTE with commission £50,000-£55,000).
