Role Summary:
Axiom Software Solutions Limited is in search of a highly proficient Python Developer to join our dynamic team. This hybrid position is tailored for a senior professional who possesses a robust foundation in Python programming, AWS, and DevOps methodologies. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with our AI Engineers within the Data Science & AI division to refine and operationalize our AI technology stack and applications.
Core Responsibilities:
- Exhibit advanced skills in Python programming.
- Leverage extensive knowledge of AWS services and tools, with practical experience in deploying applications on AWS.
- Utilize DevOps methodologies to ensure the development of scalable and production-ready web applications.
- Implement GitLab pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
- Employ Docker for application containerization and deployment.
- Manage infrastructure provisioning and oversight using Terraform.
- Utilize AWS services such as EC2, ECS, Fargate, Lambda, SQS, S3, and DynamoDB.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in React for user interface development.
- Familiarity with TypeScript for creating robust and scalable UI components.
Key Tasks:
- Advance the AI Tech Stack from version 0.1 to version 0.3, as outlined in the roadmap.
- Productionize five existing AI applications.
- Collaborate with AI Engineers in the Data Science & AI team.
- Participate in planning, design, and review meetings as required.
- Document progress in Confluence and track tasks in Jira.
Qualifications:
- Over 10 years of experience in Python development.
- Substantial hands-on experience with AWS services.
- Strong background in DevOps practices.
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment utilizing GitLab pipelines.
- Proficiency in Docker for containerization.
- Knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure management.
- Exposure to React and TypeScript is advantageous.
