Medical Diagnostic Systems Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Field Service Engineer to join our team at TRS Consulting. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the service and breakdown repair of sophisticated medical and laboratory diagnostics systems used in pathology departments, NHS laboratories, and clinical chemistry environments.
Key Responsibilities:- Visiting customer sites to provide valuable solutions for troubleshooting and repair of medical and laboratory diagnostics systems
- Liaising with external customer contacts, including laboratory managers and laboratory technicians from within the NHS and private independent scientific organisations and laboratories
- Providing technical support and training to customers on the use and maintenance of medical and laboratory diagnostics systems
- Competent background as a field service engineer or technical support engineer with extensive experience working on high value capital equipment and a qualification in electronics
- Experience of working on diagnostic systems, medical devices, laboratory systems, scientific equipment, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, pre-press, printing or high value electronic/electro-mechanical capital equipment
