About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Disability Support Worker to join our team at Vetro Recruitment. As a Learning Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with learning disabilities to live independently and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide therapeutic care and support to adults with learning disabilities, including observing, monitoring, and recording patient conditions.
  • Assist residents in their daily lives, helping them to develop skills and independence.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of multi-professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for service users.
  • Support residents in accessing community activities and hobbies, such as swimming, trampolining, and bowling.
Requirements
  • A desire to create positive outcomes for adults with learning disabilities.
  • Empathetic, caring, and resilient nature.
  • At least 6 months experience of working within a social care setting.
  • Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
  • The right to work in the UK.
  • Full UK driving license.
