Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team of energy engineering experts. The successful candidate will work closely with other discipline leads within the engineering team, as well as construction and commercial teams and external supply chains.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-quality and complex full mechanical building services
  • Work autonomously or as part of a larger team and plan strategically, make decisions, act on own initiative, and operate in a pro-active way to support the needs of the business
  • Collaborate with other discipline leads to deliver engineering solutions to support our clients in the transition to net zero carbon
  • Develop and maintain expertise in British and/or European standards, legislation, and working practices
  • Provide technical leadership and support to the design team

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years UK building services experience
  • Ability to work with Hevacomp, AutoCAD, or Revit software
  • Well-versed in British and/or European standards, legislation, and working practices
  • Experience in the design of high-quality and complex full mechanical building services
  • Good all-around project/management leadership skills and problem-solving techniques
