Job Description

The Solution Integration Architect will be a key member of the Axial Architecture team, responsible for enhancing and accelerating projects while ensuring that the logical and physical architecture for a project aligns with the standards and reference architectures defined by enterprise architecture.

You will utilize knowledge of defined reference architectures, technology trends, and implementation experience to translate business needs into solution designs that represent end-to-end technical solutions.

  • Data integration is a key focus area
  • Application and infrastructure designs will be a key part of the role
  • The Solution Integration Architect will work with Business Analysis and Solution Engineering functions to support functional and technical requirements management, including driving software selection processes
  • Ensuring that solution architectures and designs are robust and address business, application, information, and infrastructure architectural requirements
  • The Solution Integration Architect will partner with project managers, business analysts, and solution engineers to create solutions that are aligned to clients' architecture standards and principles, leverage common solutions and services, and meet financial targets
  • Providing technical and IT expertise support to project teams and conducting architectural reviews throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ensuring compliance with existing EA guidelines and standards
  • Contributing to project and service teams in the development, implementation, and maintenance of standard architectural components
  • Working with third-party suppliers as required and contributing to the creation of local or functional design documents
  • Documenting all architecture analysis and design work
  • Developing strong knowledge and expertise in at least one architecture domain
  • Contributes to the development of the Architecture Capability within Information Services by documenting and sharing knowledge and best practices with peer Architects
Requirements

Essential

Relevant technical degree or equivalent

  • Good level of expertise in Order-to-Cash or Record-to-Report or Procure-to-Pay to have regular conversations with Business and IT
  • Experience of developing and managing relationships with 3rd party suppliers

Proven business acumen

  • Understanding of the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry and of competitor activity on a particular architecture and Information Management
  • Ability to work well in diverse, multinational teams and proven ability to influence others to achieve positive outcomes
  • Demonstrated initiative, strong customer orientation
