Job Title: Communications & Marketing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Communications & Marketing Specialist to join our team at Biosynth, a leading life sciences reagents, custom synthesis, and manufacturing services company. As a trusted supplier, manufacturer, and partner to the pharmaceutical, life science, and diagnostic industries, we have facilities on three continents and a rapid global distribution network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate engaging content for internal newsletters, corporate communications, and whitepapers.
  • Talk with key internal stakeholders, experts, collaborators, and customers to engage and inform across and outside our global organization.
  • Meet with and interview operational and technical leads to generate engaging and informative content for internal newsletters.
  • Collect success stories and prepare them into content for internal and external audiences.
  • Write company content for the website, blog, and social media channels.
  • Supported by scientific and technical writers, generate whitepapers and insights into key areas.
  • Work with key senior stakeholders to create corporate external communications, including assisting with press releases and associated corporate communications.
  • Manage the organization of European conferences and industrial tradeshows.
  • Manage the content planner for Biosynth's main social media accounts.
  • Schedule posts, ensure content is produced by the content team, and assist in content preparation as needed.
  • Develop a social media strategy in line with best practice and work with digital marketing on paid content and campaigns.
  • Plan and prepare newsletters and other e-marketing campaigns.
Requirements:
  • Experience of working in a marketing department (B2B preferred).
  • It would be advantageous to have experience working within corporate communications or journalism.
  • Experience of scientific companies is advantageous but not essential.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluent English, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to write engaging content to a high standard.
  • A flexible, can-do attitude.
  • A proactive and creative thinker.
  • Ability to speak any additional languages spoken at Biosynth global sites would also be advantageous but not essential.

This role would be a hybrid position, and you will need your own transport to be able to get to our site.
