Allen & York is excited to collaborate with a prominent ecological consultancy. The team comprises highly skilled ecologists engaged in a variety of stimulating projects across the UK, including residential, governmental, and infrastructure initiatives.
We are seeking a forward-thinking Lead Ecological Consultant to oversee substantial and intricate projects.
Applicants should possess a degree in a relevant field and hold membership with CIEEM. With significant experience in ecological consultancy, candidates must have at least two Natural England protected species class licenses or be in the process of obtaining them. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in managing complex and large-scale projects, alongside a solid understanding of pertinent UK and European legislation, policies, and guidelines. Excellent communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively within a team. The successful individual will also play a mentoring role, guiding junior team members and supporting their professional development and career advancement.
A full UK driving license is required for this position.
