Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement data architecture roadmaps that support our clients' Azure data and advanced analytics initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define the scope and sizing of data solutions.
  • Work closely with enterprise architects, information security teams, and data management teams to ensure that architected solutions meet all customer needs.
  • Translate business requirements into technology solutions that drive business value.
  • Lead proof-of-concepts and help our clients choose the right technologies to solve business problems.
  • Design and implement data solutions, including artifact creation such as diagrams, playbooks, and technical documents.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members to deliver solutions on-time.
  • Create architecture blueprints and work with the development team to deliver the vision.

Requirements:

  • 12-15 years of experience in data management, big data, and analytics.
  • 4-5 years of experience in architecting and implementing cloud-native data solutions.
  • 4-5 years of experience with big data using Spark and Java for data processing.
  • Apache Spark experience using Scala or PySpark or pre-packaged tools like Databricks is a plus.
  • 3 years of experience in implementing data solutions on MS Azure using Azure Data Factory.
  • Experience in building and using ARM templates to provision and manage IaC.
  • Experience in implementing big data platforms using event-based architecture.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Azure Synapse Analytics is a plus.
  • 1 year of experience with unified data governance solutions using MS Purview.
  • Developing CICD pipelines for Azure Infrastructure, version control strategy, and integrating source control (Azure repos).
  • Experience with Java programming is a plus.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in designing and tuning ETL/ELT process development using cloud-native technologies.
  • In-depth understanding of various storage services offered by Azure.
  • Experience with data security, encryption, PII/PSI legislation, identity, and access management across sources and environments.
  • Experience with data process orchestration, end-to-end design, and build process of Near-Real Time and Batch Data Pipelines.
  • Certification in Azure data engineering and solution architecture is a must.
  • Strong client-facing communication and facilitation skills.

Qualifications:

  • BE/BTech in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field.
