About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Architect to join our team at Alcumus. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing technical solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects to create optimal designs that align with user needs, system requirements, and organizational objectives.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to design technical solutions and ensure their delivery according to defined architectures and principles.
  • Translate technical concepts between software engineering, product, and operations teams to ensure understanding and alignment.
  • Account for the wider implications of a design by considering relevant historical context and future impact as a domain technical expert.
  • Contribute to technical governance and champion a collaborative environment.
  • Work closely with Software Engineers and Product and Operations Teams to implement robust and scalable applications.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architectures, infrastructure, and software engineering principles.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs following defined architectures and principles.
  • Extensive experience working as a Software Developer with expertise in technologies including Java, JS/TS,.Net, Node, React, Ruby.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely document architectural designs and decisions.
  • Experience with AWS or professional certification, or working towards one.
  • Skills or experience in DevOps, such as CI/CD or Infrastructure as Code.
  • Ability to converse in French.
  • Knowledge of Agile software development methodology.
