We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics and Security Manager to join our team at NHS Scotland. As a key member of our Facilities department, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of portering, logistics, and security services across our campus.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the provision of high-quality portering, logistics, and security services to patients, staff, and visitors.
- Manage and direct a team of logistics and security supervisors to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve service efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with other Facilities services to support service delivery and ensure compliance with statutory and legislative standards.
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff to ensure best performance and effective delivery of services.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in logistics and security management.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to unpredictable situations.
- Knowledge of statutory and legislative standards and local and national policy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
