We are looking for a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at EMG Motor Group. This role is essential in delivering exceptional vehicle maintenance and repair services to our clientele. As part of a collaborative team and under the guidance of the Workshop Supervisor, you will utilize your technical skills to address intricate automotive challenges while enhancing your knowledge of the latest vehicle technologies and service techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
- Execute diagnostic procedures to determine the root causes of vehicle malfunctions and propose effective solutions.
- Carry out electronic visual health assessments (EVHA) on all vehicles, providing detailed reports along with professional advice and recommendations.
- Engage directly with clients and service representatives, ensuring a high standard of customer service.
- Complete vehicle maintenance tasks safely and to a high standard, adhering to both internal protocols and manufacturer guidelines.
- Participate in continuous training and professional development to keep abreast of product and service advancements.
- Contribute to enhancements in local and company-wide processes and innovations.
- Guide and mentor apprentice technicians as needed.
Qualifications for Success
- Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical individuals.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, capable of meeting deadlines.
- Level 3 qualification in vehicle technology is preferred.
- A valid UK driving license is essential.
- Experience with specific manufacturers is advantageous.
