We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our team at Computappoint. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for providing BAU support within a talented Database team, configuring and troubleshooting SQL Server databases, monitoring and reporting on database health checks, and assisting in database deployments and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing BAU support within a talented Database team
  • Configuring and troubleshooting SQL Server databases
  • Monitoring and reporting on database health checks
  • Assisting in database deployments and maintenance
  • Scripting and automating processes for application delivery
  • Collaborating with various teams to ensure project delivery is correct
Requirements:
  • 2+ years experience as a DBA, ideally working with SQL Server
  • Experience in dealing with Disaster Recover (DR)
  • Some programming skills, ideally with Python but Java, SQL, and PowerShell would be good too
  • A desire to learn and the ability to pick up new technologies quickly
