The Nottinghamshire Football Association is on the lookout for an Independent Chair to spearhead the Inclusion Advisory Group (IAG). This role will be accountable to the Chair of the Board of Directors.
Key Responsibilities:
The appointed individual will be expected to have a strong enthusiasm for football, along with expertise in the following critical areas:
a) Comprehensive understanding of legislation related to inclusion and diversity.
b) Experience working with varied groups and individuals from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
c) Advocacy for inclusion and diversity within a group setting.
d) Proficient in leading committees and groups effectively.
e) Exceptional interpersonal abilities.
f) Capacity to engage in constructive debate and discussion.
g) Ability to identify significant trends and issues that can enhance the game through inclusion and diversity initiatives.
h) Successful networking with both internal and external stakeholders.
i) Strategic planning skills.
Role Expectations:
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting IAG meetings quarterly, collaborating closely with the Nottinghamshire FA Executive and staff, and participating in Board Meetings as necessary.
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Chair who is eager to advance the areas outlined above.
