Rapier Employment HGV Technician Job Opportunity

We are working with a reputable client to find a skilled HGV Technician for their workshop in the Retford area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet of commercial vehicles.
  • Conduct MOT preparation and completion, as well as scheduled servicing to DVSA standards.
  • Carry out 6 weekly inspections and correct running defects.
  • Assist with chassis and fabrication/welding work, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Improve vehicle standards through electrical and wiring inspections and corrections.
Requirements:
  • Fully qualified (City & Guilds), NVQ, or equivalent.
  • Additional accreditations such as IRTEC or an EV qualification are desirable.
  • An HGV or Class 2 licence is also beneficial.
