Contract Manager Job Description

Greenmount Projects is seeking a skilled Contract Manager to oversee the successful delivery of fit-out and refurbishment programmes across various sectors, including commercial, education, healthcare, blue light, and leisure in the Northwest.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction fit-out, with experience in design and build, and a proven track record of managing projects from conception to completion. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing projects across the Northwest, ensuring timely delivery, and adherence to budget and programme.
  • Coordinating with clients, stakeholders, and sub-contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Developing and implementing quality plans, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and project business plans.
  • Securing and managing resources to deliver projects effectively and efficiently.
  • Establishing communication plans and information management procedures for projects.

The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, ambitious, and dynamic individual with excellent written and analytical skills, experience using project management software, and a strong attention to detail. A full UK driving licence and access to a car are essential for frequent travel to sites.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in interior fit-out, commercial projects.
  • Strong relationships-building skills with clients, sub-contractors, and internal teams.
  • Excellent written and analytical skills, experience using project management software.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to run multiple projects on time and within budget.
