About the Role
As a Customer Delivery Driver at Tesco, you will be the face of our company on the road, delivering exceptional customer service to our valued customers. Your role will involve meeting and interacting with customers in their homes, helping them with their shopping needs, and providing a warm and welcoming experience.

Key Responsibilities
• Ensuring the van and trays are clean and organized
• Leaving the back yard clean and tidy, and picking up litter as needed
• Ensuring trays are washed as part of the tray wash process
• Loading the van as required, checking the van for roadworthiness
• Talking to customers about any changes to their order, including short code items and substitutions
• Taking care of products and deliveries as if they were your own
• Explaining to customers that they will not be charged for substitutions
• Delivering during the customer's time slot
• Calling customers before arriving at their property if early
• Calling the store if running 30 or more minutes late

Requirements
• A UK/EU/EEA driving license (full or automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points
• Ability to adhere to GB Domestic Driving Rules
• Warm and welcoming in interactions with customers and colleagues
• Ability to build relationships with colleagues and create a positive team spirit
• Energetic and driven to deliver beyond expectations
• Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
