About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Co-Founder in Residence for Climate Innovation. This is an exciting opportunity to work with us on enabling CO2 capture processes and contributing to the development of a global scale, impact-driven, high-growth company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies for enabling CO2 capture processes
  • Collaborate with our team to build and scale a new company focused on climate innovation
  • Contribute to the development of a broad portfolio of CO2 capture technologies
  • Work closely with our network of partners and advisors to access know-how and resources
  • Secure pre-seed investment and develop early proof-of-concept data
Requirements
  • PhD or equivalent industry R&D know-how focused on mechanical or chemical engineering
  • In-depth knowledge of state-of-the-art technologies and constraints in CO2 capture processes
  • Broad knowledge in CDR technologies and processes
  • Industry-specific know-how, commercial knowledge, and network within the CDR and related industries
  • Experience in building and scaling new technologies from concept to demonstration
  • Experience in raising funds from early stage investors/VC
  • Experience in building and scaling a high-growth enterprise (leadership/c-suite roles)
