The successful candidate will oversee the strategic planning, procurement, and delivery of major cyclical and planned works, ensuring effective management of the £20 million annual investment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Setting the vision and strategic direction for asset investment delivery, aligning with the company's corporate goals and Asset Investment Strategy.
  • Leading, managing, and inspiring a team of Project Managers, Commercial Managers, and others to deliver high-quality, compliant programmes that meet performance standards.
  • Ensuring all projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and in compliance with CDM regulations, statutory, legal, and regulatory requirements.
  • Overseeing the financial performance of the investment programme, ensuring budgets are set, monitored, and met, with proactive risk management and accurate forecasting.
  • Collaborating with the Procurement Team to develop and implement strategies that maximise social value and ensure value for money from contractors.
  • Setting and monitoring customer service standards, ensuring all work is aligned with customer needs and expectations.
  • Providing robust governance and reporting structures, delivering timely and accurate performance reports up to Board level.
  • Leading efforts to improve asset data management, procurement practices, and overall programme delivery to support the company's long-term strategy.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in delivering asset investment strategies within the housing sector, strong financial management and project/programme performance monitoring skills, and a deep understanding of contract law, procurement processes, and health and safety regulations in construction.

They will be committed to delivering exceptional customer service and improving community outcomes.
