Job Title: Indirect Buyer

We are seeking an experienced Indirect Buyer to join our team at Owen Daniels, a leading manufacturer of pedal driven vehicles. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting day-to-day indirect procurement, analyzing data, and ensuring parts, services, and contracts meet business and stakeholder expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure business needs are met within assigned commodity, adhering to processes for effective indirect spend management.
  • Target cost-saving and consolidation opportunities in indirect categories while maintaining quality and service.
  • Drive and develop a reliable, sustainable supply chain for alternatively sourced parts and services.
  • Review bids and tenders, maintain contracts, and manage records of goods ordered and received.
  • Analyze current spends, aim for cost savings aligned with business KPIs, and provide update reports as needed.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a 'hands on' procurement role.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of indirect procurement.
  • Working knowledge of MRP/APS systems.
