About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Marine, Logistics and Facilities (MLF) management team
  • Manage multiple large-scale Vessel and Facilities contracts
  • Be responsible for all logistics related activities, including port services
  • Establish appropriate management systems and work processes
  • Prepare logistics requirements in SAP, warehouse, etc.
  • Hold the interface towards construction project for O&M Base usage and vessel sharing
  • Ensure that the Dogger Bank operations and the Port of Tyne base have sufficient vessels and logistics set-up and support
  • Act as the owner of the O&M Base facilities and be responsible for associated facility management
  • Have the role of Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO), working with Dept of transport and ensuring ISPS is implemented
  • Responsible for spares & material management at site, goods manifesting including dangerous goods

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Logistics, Engineering, or another relevant subject
  • Significant experience in a similar maritime logistics role, ideally within offshore wind
  • Extensive management experience of a warehousing and logistics team
  • Extensive experience of managing vessel contracts, warehousing, stores, and logistics
  • Familiar with SAP material handling systems – essential
