Role Overview

As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will be part of a dedicated team responsible for delivering exceptional maintenance services in collaboration with various healthcare providers.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing routine maintenance tasks as part of our Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance programs.
  • Conducting plumbing repairs and installations, with a preference for candidates holding relevant qualifications.
  • Carrying out light electrical work, carpentry, and general maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of facilities.
  • Executing planned maintenance activities, including temperature checks and emergency light inspections.

Working Hours and Benefits

This role typically operates Monday to Friday, with the potential for participation in an on-call rota system, allowing for additional earnings through urgent repair tasks.

Candidate Requirements

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Previous experience in building maintenance, ideally within a healthcare setting or with a contractor servicing the healthcare sector.
  • A background in providing planned and reactive maintenance services in commercial environments.
  • A plumbing qualification is advantageous, but candidates with relevant experience will also be considered.
  • A valid UK Driving Licence.
  • A broad skill set in general building maintenance, including plumbing, painting, carpentry, and plastering.
