Mechanical Field Service Engineer - Power Station

Location: Southeast England

Salary: Up to £48,000 + Benefits and Bonus

CV Library is seeking a skilled Mechanical Field Service Engineer to join our team in the Southeast region. As a Mechanical Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for performing mechanical repairs and maintenance on rotating equipment such as large turbines, pumps, and BFW multi-stage.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment, including rotating machines, balance of plant, and auxiliary systems.
  2. Conduct fault finding and diagnosis of mechanical equipment associated with heavy engineering sectors.
  3. Undertake and complete Workshop and Field Service activities, including reporting and detailing findings.
  4. Work independently to identify and resolve faults and concerns on mechanical systems.
  5. Assist and lead planned projects and outages as directed by peers.

Requirements:

  • Mechanical trained Engineers, Technicians, and/or Fitters with training and experience in rotating equipment and heavy industrial plant.
  • Experience with compressors, pumps, turbines, generators, and water or wastewater equipment.
  • NVQ or City & Guilds Level 3 Mechanical qualifications.
