Job Title: English Game Tester

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented English Game Tester to join our team at Universally Speaking. As a key member of our Quality Assurance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of our games and applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Test games and applications to identify linguistic bugs and errors.
  • Report bugs using a bug database and communicate with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with the QA team to ensure seamless testing and quality assurance processes.
  • Participate in test requirement gathering with developers to ensure accurate testing.
  • Continuously improve and refine testing processes to ensure the highest quality of our products.
Requirements:
  • Expert-level proficiency in Russian language.
  • Strong written and spoken English skills.
  • Passion for video games and gaming industry.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proactive, tenacious, and enthusiastic approach to work.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality focus.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office Suite and computer software.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in LQA, translation, or proofreading.
  • Experience with software tools used for LQA testing.
  • Working knowledge of CAT tools (MemoQ).
  • Knowledge of the video game industry and trends.
