Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Public Liaison Officer to join our team in Portsmouth. As a key member of our Future Generations Team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing community liaison, customer care, and communication plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage community engagement materials, including reports, presentations, and other communications.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including emergency services, local councils, and community groups.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work closely with the site team to identify potential issues and risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with local communities, including attending community meetings and events.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Full driving license and ability to pass a DBS check.
