Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Questech Recruitment Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and components for our clients in the Mechanical & Engineering industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mechanical systems and components using CAD software, such as SolidWorks, Inventor, and AutoCAD Mechanical.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets customer requirements and company standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to develop and implement design solutions.
  • Conduct design reviews and ensure designs meet quality and safety standards.
  • Develop and maintain design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and bills of materials.
Requirements:
  • Degree or HNC qualification in a mechanically oriented engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience working within a high precision manufacturing background.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, including SolidWorks, Inventor, and AutoCAD Mechanical.
  • Knowledge of kinematics and force analysis.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
