About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Bayford House Care Home. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and providing exceptional dining experiences for our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the link between the main kitchen and our residents, ensuring that meals are prepared and served to the highest standards.
- Assist the chefs in preparing meals, plating dishes, and maintaining a clean and tidy kitchen environment.
- Monitor stock rotation and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including COSHH and HACCP guidelines.
- Assist with catering for special events, such as summer BBQs and Christmas parties.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need a passion for food and previous experience working in a kitchen. You will also require a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our residents.
