About the Role

NHS Professionals Limited is seeking a skilled Community Psychiatric Nurse to join our team. As a Community Psychiatric Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, providing vital healthcare services to patients in the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide robust assessments of patients who have been referred due to presenting with mental health difficulties.
  • Identify appropriate care pathways and ensure the least restrictive option to meet the needs of the patient and ensure their well-being.
  • Signpost to appropriate care providers, including primary and tertiary care.
  • Raise concerns to senior staff for support and management.
  • Complete documentation and planning care for patients.
  • Present cases to Multi-Disciplinary Team for discussion around care pathway.
  • Liaise with colleagues, including nursing, occupational therapy, medics, psychology, and admin.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 6 months paid experience as a Community Psychiatric Nurse in an UK hospital environment within the last 3 years.
  • Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices.
  • A full UK driving licence and own vehicle.
