Early Years Practitioner Job Description

At Dunbar Education, we are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Practitioner to join our team. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Delivering Engaging Activities: Design and implement engaging and age-appropriate activities that promote children's physical, intellectual, emotional, and social development.
  2. Monitoring Progress: Monitor and record children's progress, maintaining accurate developmental records.
  3. Building Relationships: Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to support a cohesive learning environment.
  4. Safety and Well-being: Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care, adhering to safeguarding and health and safety policies.
Requirements:
  1. Qualifications: Level 2 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent).
  2. Experience: Proven experience in a nursery or early years setting, implementing the EYFS framework.
  3. Passion for Early Childhood Education: A genuine passion for early childhood education and commitment to providing exceptional care.
