HGV Class 1 Driver People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Crick, Northamptonshire . This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay, ongoing work, and genuine room to grow and progress. Shifts: Friday to Sunday – 23:00 to 02:00 starts Rates of Pay: £17.00 – £20.00 per hour Benefits: Ongoing work Weekly pay On-site canteen Immediate starts available Employee well-being programme Rates of Pay: Monday to Friday – £17.00 per hour Saturday – £19.00 per hour Sunday – £20.00 per hour Day-to-Day Duties: As a HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include (but not be limited to): Driving Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently Depot-to-depot trunking (no handball) Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensuring all cargo is loaded, transported, and secured safely Adhering to traffic laws, company policies, and delivery schedules Completing all necessary paperwork accurately Essential Skills: To be successful as a HGV Class 1 Driver, you will need: A valid UK Category CE Driving Licence Minimum of 12 months experience driving CE vehicles No more than six penalty points (minor infringements only) A valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card Good spoken and written English Desirable Experience: Previous commercial driving experience Training Provided: Drivers must pass a driving assessment prior to starting Industry-related training and ongoing support provided Apply: If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity, apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team to find out more.
