Job Role: Electrical Supervisor Location: HMP Whitemoor - Longhill Rd, March PE15 0PR Salary: £44,177.30 per annum 5% in addition for recognition of weekend working Contract: Permanent, full time - 39 hours per week, Monday to Sunday We are seeking an NVQ Level 3 qualified Electrician with experience leading teams to join our team at HMP Whitemoor, a High Security Adult Male prison. We are a Ministry of Justice business and provide critical and time-bound services to HMPPS, and are looking for a Electrical Supervisor with a combination of: - Five years experience as an electrician or equivalent - Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical, building services - Experience of supervising staff - Full driving license preferably with D1 - C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent - Certificate in BS7671 - The Requirements For Electrical Installations - 18th Edition - Good Health & Safety knowledge. - Excellent organisational, time management and people skills. GFSL has been notified by its shareholder (MOJ) that the provision of FM services will in future be delivered by the private sector. This means that following a successful procurement process, GFSLs services will complete transfer to a private sector provider/providers no sooner than August 2027.
