We refer to this as Extraordinary Days, Every Day. About the Service Cwlach is a property which consists of 5 self-contained flats, a residential service for adults from 18 years and over. We are a registered Care Home Service and provide support to individuals who may have a range of needs including, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Learning Disabilities and /or Mental Health needs. Experience of working with Mental Health, Learning Disabilities, ASD and Challenging Behaviour would be advantageous but not essential, as we provide full training and Induction programme. Support Worker Skills & Experience Experience (desirable but not essential) of working in a caring environment Experience (desirable but not essential) of working with adults with autism Experience (desirable but not essential) of working with adults with learning disabilities and/or Mental Health needs To have completed or be willing to work towards level two QCF as required criteria for Social Care Wales Registration Drivers desirable but not essential Able to work unsociable hours, weekends, and bank holidays Excellent communication skills, allowing you to engage & interact with supported individuals. Our support workers measure outcomes specifically to an individual’s needs and evidence using our person-centred outcome-measuring tool. Successful candidates will be required to complete an enhanced DBS disclosure prior to commencement of employment; the disclosure expense will be met by the employer.
